Join us for a morning brunch strategic sandbox- workshop bringing together curious minds under the themes of sustainable growing, food resilience and environmental sensing. Whether you are educator, farmer, policymaker, scientist or cultural worker, your insight will be valuable.
Participants will learn about ideas and prototypes from the weekends hackathon to develop actionable projects, partnerships, and site-based interventions. This sandbox forms part of the TeleAgriCulture Horizon-aligned development process, focusing on the translation of experimental prototypes into real-world applications and governance models.
The session will bring together cross-sector stakeholders to:
• Identify potential living lab sites (farms, schools, community spaces)
• Develop collaborative project concepts
• Align technical possibilities with social, cultural, and policy needs
• Explore models for community-led environmental data governance
• Define next steps toward implementation and funding
Who benefits from the Sandbox session:
• Farmers and food growers
• Local educators and schools
• Cultural organisations and arts practitioners• Municipal and regional policymakers
• Environmental scientists and researchers
• Technologists and infrastructure specialists
• Community organisers and NGOs
Key Outcomes:
• Defined living lab project proposals
• Identified sites and partners
• Draft implementation pathways
• Early-stage impact and governance frameworks
Sandbox participants are warmly welcome to attend at least one day of the weekends hackathon to benefit from shared context and familiarity with the tools and approaches. The hackathon and sandbox form a continuous process: from hands-on experimentation and collective learning to the development of real-world living labs and long-term collaborations.
